Welcome to...THE FLOWER SPOT
Featured here are some of my flowers in my yard.
You do not have to go far to find interesting subjects.
I hope you like what you see and write to me at the address below.
The Tiger Lily was photographed in my garden in the Summer of "97". The original seed came from my father's garden many years ago.
Now there is a beetle that is killing these lilies. It is just a matter of time before the beetles reach my garden,
and that fact makes this photo even more valuable to me.
The Crocus is the first sign of Spring for me. This one was photographed last year in my yard.
IT'S TOUGH BEING A FLOWER IN THE SNOW
Photographed in early March "98"
This is a shot taken in the late afternoon, with the crocus backlighted. Just as I was about to snap the picture, clouds came up and changed the whole feeling of the photograph. I sort of like the way it turned out.
The rose above is one of the prettiest in my garden. The colors range from a pink to a creamy white and the fragrance is slight. Pristine is a vigorous rose with stems that are very thick. This rose is a pleasure to grow and the image was captured in the Summer of 2001.
